399cc inline-four engine debuts on the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR

New Delhi: With a starting price of $9,699, Kawasaki has unveiled the track-focused 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR (roughly Rs. 8 lakh) for the international market.

Between the entry-level ZX-25R and the mid-capacity ZX-6R is the SuperSport. The motorcycle is powered by an all-new 399cc inline-four engine with ram air intake that produces 78 horsepower at 16,000 revolutions per minute.

Kawasaki is renowned for making some of the best motorcycles in the middleweight supersport class and has won numerous MotoGP and World Superbike Championship races.

The two most capable street-legal, racing-ready motorcycles in the sub-800cc segment are the Ninja ZX-25R and the ZX-6R. In the ZX lineup, the all-new ZX-4RR serves as a transitional model.

It features a muscular fuel tank, dual pod LED headlight, upright windscreen, clip-on handlebar, full-fairing with flush-fitted indicators, split-type seats, an upswept exhaust, a slim tail section and a stylish LED taillamp. Powerful 399cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve inline-four engine that powers the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR, producing a maximum output of 78 horsepower at 16,000 rpm and 35.9 Nm of peak torque at 11,000 rpm produces. , A 6-speed gearbox with bi-directional quickshifter is mated to the engine.

The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR features dual-channel ABS, Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), ride-by-wire throttle and riding modes, apart from disc brakes on the front and rear wheels for rider safety.
