New Delhi: Hina Khan, TV's most famous actress, is known for her acting and style. Hina Khan has become the first television actress to join grand marshals in the 39th India Day Parade to be held in New York on August 18. It is an honour for every Indian to join the parade as a grand marshal. Before Hina, many other Bollywood actors have also participated in the parade.

The official account of the Federation of Indian Associations said that Hina Khan is scheduled to participate in the '39th India Day Parade' this year. "India Day Parade-Sunday 18th August, celebrate India's 73rd Independence Day with the most beautiful and talented television and cinema actress Hina Khan," the tweet reads.
Apart from Bollywood artists, thousands of Indians are also involved in the parade. The main objective of the parade is to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Armed Forces. This time the theme of the India Day Parade is 'Support your soldiers, salute your soldiers'.

Before Hina Khan, Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Kamal Hassan, Shruti Hasan, Parineeti Chopra, Anupam Kher and Priyanka Chopra have also joined the parade as grand marshals. Sunil Shetty, Gulshan Grover, besides Hina Khan, will also be honoured as Grand Marshal in the parade which will be held on August 18.
Hina Khan was last seen in the role of Komolika in the television serial 'Kasuti Zindagi Kay2'. These days, she is gearing up to launch her Bollywood career with her film 'Lines'. The first look of which has been released at the Cannes Festival.
