3-day-old girl stolen from hospital, family members create ruckus

Dewas: An incident of theft of a 3-day-old newborn baby girl from a district hospital in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh has come to light. After the girl's disappearance, the family members and relatives gathered and created a ruckus. The stolen girl belongs to Tina Vishal Verma, a resident of Shajapur.

Three days after the child was stolen, BJP leader Rupesh Verma tried to immolate himself by pouring kerosene on himself at the main gate of the hospital premises at around 3:30 am on Friday, after which the police immediately caught former councillor, Rupesh Verma.

People from the San community also reached the district hospital and shouted slogans. The people have locked the CMHO office. At the same time, the SP reached the district hospital by the doctor ShivDayal Singh and spoke to the mother of the newborn girl. Many officers have arrived at the hospital. Even after more than 72 hours of the case, the police have not been able to trace the girl so far. Considering the seriousness of the incident, a heavy police force has been deployed in the hospital premises at present.
