Machilipatnam: Yesterday, while taking a bath at in the Bay of Bengal off Gullalamoda beach in Krishna district, four youths are feared drowned.

Krishna district SP Vijayakumar, said, “the mishap occurred when a group of 15 youngsters from Vijayawada ventured into sea at Gullalamoda beach for a swim. Four among them are feared to have been washed away”. 

A search operation has been launched by the police with the help of local swimmers and fishermen. But, till now they were not able to trace the boys, who are identified as V Lashmana Rao, G Anilkumar, R Laxmana Rao and R Ramesh.
