In fact, at around 11 p.m., a 4-storey building in Malvani area suddenly collapsed. Eleven people are said to have died in the accident. In fact, a four-storey edifice in Malwani area of Malad West collapsed at 11:10 pm last Wednesday. According to reports, 11 people have been killed and 7 others seriously injured in the building collapse and have been admitted to BDBA Nagar General Hospital.
Several people, including some children, were reportedly inside the building when the building collapsed. The fire brigade rushed to the spot soon after the incident. At the same time, 15 people trapped in the debris could be rescued with the help of local police and people. According to reports, rescue operations are still underway for those trapped. According to the information received, more than 20 people, including several children, were present in the building at the time.
All the injured trapped in the debris were evacuated and taken to a nearby hospital with the help of fire brigade, local police and people who rushed to the spot after the incident. The condition of several injured persons is now critical. Now, recently, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has said, "Three buildings in the vicinity are in a "dangerous" condition and have been evacuated. Maharashtra Minister Aslam Sheikh, on the other hand, says the building has collapsed due to heavy rains in the city.
