Jammu, a landslide occurred at Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra near Ardhkuwari Temple, Katra. In the incident, at least 4 pilgrims died and 9 were injured.

As per the reports, “the incident occurred following heavy rainfall in the night causing flash floods situation in the area. 3 pilgrims were hit by a big stone that rolled down near gate number-3 of the cave Mata vaishno devi shrine.”

The injured were rushed to the Mata Vaishno Devi hospital, when the concerned authorities reached the spot after the incident.

But unfortunately 4 pilgrims have died so far in the landslide.

The yatra to the cave shrine, which was disrupted for some hours, later resumed, the ASP, Reasi, Sanjay Rana, said.
