4 people arrested for making illegal liquor in lockdown

New Delhi: Illegal liquor factory has been caught in the national capital during a nationwide lockdown. Where fake liquor was being made by putting liquor furnace. Delhi Police has arrested 5 accused from here. The arrested accused have been identified as Gopal Gupta (32) Shiv Gupta (40) Pulendra (54) Radhe Shyam (34) and Ram Nath Shahu (39).

Giving information, DCP Vijayanta Arya said that the Ashok Vihar police team had received information that some people had set up a furnace of liquor in Wazirpur area to supply the demand for liquor during the lockdown. After the information, the team conducted raids on the spot, where a large amount of raw and alcohol was being prepared. A furnace and items used to make liquor have been recovered from the spot. After investigation, the police have arrested the accused from the slums of Wazirpur B-block.

Giving information in the interrogation, the accused said that he was doing this work for the last few days. Used to make wine by bringing rotten fruits from the market. Let us tell you that accidents of such liquor are often happening, due to drinking raw liquor people die.
