Mathura: 4 people arrested for making fake liquor, five policemen suspended

Mathura: In Uttar Pradesh, Barsana police in Mathura district on Friday arrested four persons for making spurious liquor and seized liquor. The Senior Superintendent of Police has suspended five policemen and ordered an inquiry against them in the case.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Mathura Gaurav Grover informed that Barasana police station in-charge Azad Pal Singh raided a place near the police station on the information of informers and seized 30 boxes of liquor and liquor items, raw materials, fake wrappers, bottles and lids etc. Four persons including two sons of the accused and their accomplices were arrested from the spot in the case.

He said, two senior police officers, Shivakumar Sharma and Arjun Rathi and sepoys Ravi Kumar, Gajendra Kumar and Yuvraj Singh. All of them have been suspended and take departmental action.
