Ayodhya: In the case of fraudulent withdrawal of 6 lakh rupees from the bank account of Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the police has achieved great success. The Ayodhya Police has arrested four accused from Maharashtra, while the mastermind is still being reported as absconding. The mastermind is resident of Kashi, the city of Baba Vishwanath, while he was currently living in Mumbai.

It is worth mentioning that on 9 September 2020, fraudsters transferred 6 lakh rupees from the trust's account to another account. Trust general secretary Champat Rai had filed a case in Ayodhya Kotwali. The account in which Ramlala's money was transferred was immediately seized by the police. The police got success in this case when four accused were arrested. The arrest of these four accused has been done near Ram's Paidi in Ayodhya. According to the police, these four accused were called for an investigation and during interrogation, they confessed to their crime.

The arrested accused are Prashant Mahabal Shetty, Vimal Lalla, Shankar Sita Ram and Sanjay Tejraj. They are all residents of Maharashtra. According to Ayodhya Police, this is a case of check cloning. Whether the officers or employees of the bank are involved in this matter, it is also being investigated.
