On Saturday, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has reported that 4 workers of Corona test in its Bidadi factories in Karnataka have turned positive. The company had previously found the corona test positive of its fourteen employees. Now the total number of factories has increased to 18. Last month, the company suspended work at the Bidadi plant after two workers were tested positive, but soon the construction was completely sanitized and started at all the plants.

The company said in a statement on its site, "TKM has confirmed 4 new Corona cases. TKM previously reported Corona positive cases of fourteen of its employees. In the new examples, Corona positive employees reported 29 times, worked at the factory on June 2 and 3 July. We will also provide all possible help to the infected employees during the period of treatment. We want to know all our stakeholders that we would like to make the work place special. Along with cleansing from the affected, they are adopting the process of complete sanitization of the affected work part.

Toyota believes that the company has separated their staff who are suspected of having primary and secondary contact with the infected staff through proper contact tracing following the orders issued by the government. It has also been mentioned that every day follows the process of disinfecting the workplace. On the positive note, 5 out of the first fourteen infected employees have recovered completely. They are now facing a 14-day quarantine by taking leave from the hospital.
