More than 40 percent of the users who started using mobile wallet after the note-bank had turned to use cash. This is said in a research report. In this research, the study of the usage of the mobile wallet has been done. Research conducted by Chrome Data Analytics and Media has revealed that about 40 percent of 65 percent of active mobile users in mobile wallet have increased their cash availability and shifted towards cash transactions. 

According to the study, about 86 percent of the currency was out of currency, due to which there was a huge cash crunch in the economy. However, with the completion of one year of the ban on bondage, the cash has once again caught the speed. The use of e-wallets has come down sharply. However, due to the convenience offered by e-wallet, people are still paying electricity charges, payment of online food chains and cab services to mobile wallets." 

The results of this report are based on the data collected by 2,675 participants. In the research report, participants of eight metro cities have been included. Of these participants, 23 percent of respondents use a mobile wallet for bill payments such as electricity and phone recharge. At the same time, 22 percent of the participants use the digital wallet to order online food. It has been said in the report that despite the cash back and discounts offered by these companies to reduce their business, the use of mobile wallet is reduced.
