400 bedded temporary hospital started at Gurudwara Rakab Ganj in Delhi for covid patients

New Delhi: The drive to set up temporary hospitals for patients has also intensified amid an ever-increasing number of corona infected people in the national capital. The doors of the prayer site of Rakab Ganj Gurudwara in central Delhi were opened to corona patients on Monday. The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee and the Delhi government have jointly arranged facilities at the new corona Hospital.

400 beds have been arranged for the treatment of corona infected people at Rakab Ganj Gurdwara. Oxygen has been arranged on all 400 beds. Corona patients admitted here can get the facility of providing oxygen from 5 litres to 20 litres on one bed as per the requirement. Recently, superstar Amitabh Bachchan has also contributed Rs 2 crore for the treatment centre.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain and LNJP Hospital Director Dr Suresh Kumar also arrived to visit the Covid Centre at Rakab Ganj Gurudwara on Monday. Health Minister Satyendra Jain, Gurudwara Sikh Prabandhak Committee Chairman Manjinder Singh Sirsa and all those associated with the Management Committee also performed Ardas before the treatment of corona patients at the Gurudwara.
