New Delhi: The country has also started vaccinating children from January 3 to 18, accelerating the corona vaccination drive. More than 4.1 million children were given corona vaccine doses on the first day i.e. Monday. With this, more than 146.61 crore vaccine doses have been given in the country so far.

More than 9.8 million doses were given till 10.15 pm on Monday, while the number of people registering for the children's vaccine has crossed 5 million. Earlier, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had tweeted, "Excellent young India. On the first day of the children's vaccination campaign, more than 4 million children in the age group of 15-18 years were given the first dose of the corona vaccine. This is another achievement at the top of India's vaccination campaign.''

Meanwhile, 20,998 children between the age of 15-18 years were vaccinated with a corona in the national capital Delhi from 6 pm on Monday. Earlier, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had also visited Delhi's RSL hospital amid a vaccination drive and met children who had come for vaccination. He also took stock of the vaccination drive.
