Telangana: 42 children infected in a school, samples sent for investigation of Omicron

Hyderabad: Schools have reopened across the country. Students have been instructed to follow corona protocols, however despite all of the restrictions,  At Gurukul School in Muthangi, Patancheru mandal, Sangareddy district, Telangana, 42 students and a teacher were found infected with corona.

Meanwhile, despite the mounting chaos in the realm of omicron variants, samples of students have been sent for testing. Teachers, 291 kids, and 27 members of the school staff were all tested for Corona. The school has a total of 491 students enrolled. The collected samples were sent to Hyderabad to be analyzed. Students have been sequestered in hostels in the meanwhile. So that the corona infection does not spread to other children or staff at the school.

This is the third time in the last ten days that students at Telangana's educational institutions have been found infected with the covid virus. Last week, Mahindra University was forced to close after 25 students and five employees were revealed to be sick. Earlier, 29 children from a government school had tested positive for corona. Telangana's administration has permitted schools to begin on September 1st. Meanwhile, schools and colleges have reopened in a number of other states since September 1.
