Meerut: 42 people have been confirmed to have swine flu in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, out of which eight have died due to swine flu. The administration has instructed the government hospitals not to refuse to recruit any patients of Swine Flu.
 
According to the administration, there is no shortage of swine flu drugs in the district.
 
District Magistrate Rajkumar said, "There is a separate ward for swine flu. Swine Flu is being kept from the victims only. Instructions have been given to hospitals that no patient should be refused to admit."
 
Ruckus after the death of patients:
On the same day, after the death of three people with Swine Flu in Meerut Medical College, the families fiercely raged and accused the doctors of negligence and demanded strict action. After which police managed to control the situation after reaching the spot.
 
People were accused that patients are not treated properly in Swine Flu Ward. Doctors are acting negligently. People demand that action taken against those people who are negligent in the treatment of doctors and staff.
