New Delhi: The global epidemic corona virus continues to wreak havoc across the country. Doctors who have become shields of people in the corona epidemic have also lost their lives. The second wave of corona virus has claimed 420 doctors across the country. According to data released by the Indian Medical Association, the second wave has the highest number of deaths of 100 Doctors in Delhi.

In addition, 96 doctors have died of corona in Bihar, 41 in UP. 26 doctors have died in Andhra Pradesh, 3 in Assam, 31 in Gujarat, 2 in Goa, 2 in Haryana, 15 in Maharashtra, 13 in Madhya Pradesh. The lowest is in Punjab and Puducherry. Record testing of corona has been done in a day in Uttar Pradesh. 3.07 lakh samples have been tested in UP in a day. UP has become the first state to do so. The relief in UP is that the state has seen a decline in new cases even after the testing has increased. The number of total active cases in UP has come down to below one lakh.

UP has become the first suba to conduct 46.5 crore tests. In addition, UP has become the first state to provide vaccine protection cover to the highest number of youth. One million people between the ages of 18 and 44 have been vaccinated here.
