Heavy rains have severely affected the normal life in Maharashtra. It has rained heavily in the capital Delhi. Suddenly the weather has changed in the capital city of Delhi last night. The thunderstorm with lightning in the capital Delhi has ended all the humidity. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may continue throughout Delhi today. There is continuous torrential rain in various areas of Maharashtra including Mumbai. Due to this, water logging problem has arisen. Many trees have been uprooted and the walls of houses have fallen. Suburban areas of Mumbai and its neighboring Thane have recorded more than 100 mm of rainfall. There has also been heavy rainfall in areas inside Maharashtra. The Meteorological Department has estimated a high tide of 4.63 meters high in Mumbai. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has appealed people to stay away from the beach.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi is going to be rainy for many days. It is believed that there are chances of thunderstorms for a few days. Due to rain, the mercury has rolled down in Delhi and the weather has become pleasant. The Indian Meteorological Department had expected light rain from around midnight.

For your information, let us tell you that electricity has once again fallen in five districts of Bihar. For the past several days, lightning strikes are happening everyday in Bihar. So far 20 people have lost their lives due to lightning. According to information received from the state's disaster management department, 20 people have died due to lightning in the state. Maximum nine people died in Bhojpur, five in Saran, three in Kaimur, two in Patna and one in Buxar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 4-4 lakh to the families of the deceased. He has appealed to the people of the state to be vigilant. More than 130 people have died due to lightning in the state in the last 10 days. In many districts of Bihar, heavy rains are still being forecast.
