In Paris this year Miu Miu Resort Fashion Show had a surprise on the runway. Veteran actress Uma Thurman closed the show with a bang.

Uma Thurman who is 48-year-old actress stunned the runway in Paris wearing a long navy trench coat over an emerald and sequin leopard print gown. During the finale, she surprised everyone by popping on yellow cat-eyed shades and walking off the ramp while waving at the guests with a smug smile. 

It felt like a full-circle moment for the actress who had stepped into the industry initially as a model before landing her role in Dangerous Liaisons.  

The interesting trivia is that Thurman had once donned a lilac Prada gown when she walked the red carpet for the 1995 Oscars and created history.

Other stars spotted were Gwendoline Christie, Kate Bosworth, Sadie Sink, Chloe Sevigny and Rowan Blanchard. As per the reports it wasn’t a planned decision to get these stars to walk for the brand. It was more of an impromptu decision that Miuccia Prada took in the morning of the show. Blanchard opened the show wearing a black satin column dress with sprouting pink ostrich feathers at the back of the dress.
