Corona: 49 foreign members of Tablighi Jamaat admitted their mistake

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, 49 foreign nationals of Tablighi Jamaat who have been detained in violation of the Corona Protocol have accepted their crime. After this, CJM Sushil Kumari was sentenced after hearing in court. The court has punished these people with imprisonment equal to the period spent in jail and a fine of 1500.

CJM Sushil Kumari has said in his order that in the unusual circumstances of the coronavirus epidemic, the accused committed the crime when there was an atmosphere of distrust and panic in the society, so punished all the foreign accused on the basis of their confession in the charges. The accused were told before the court that the corona epidemic was an unusual circumstance, they are all foreigners, had come to India on remote visas, all their documents are valid, they have not intentionally committed any crime, they go back to their country, so they should be punished with the least penalty.

Chargesheet was filed against all these accused in different sections of IPC Section 188, 269, 270, 271 and Epidemic Act, Passport Act, Foreigners Act and Disaster Management Act.
