 According to a study by Nokia, high-speed mobile broadband technology, 4G increased data traffic across the country in 2016 and contributed 60 percent to the increased data. Nokia has rated the mobile broadband performance in the country in its annual mobile broadband index study. 

It said - In 2016, the main source of data traffic across the country was 4G and its share in increased data traffic was 60 percent. According to this, although 4G coverage has not started in all circles across the country, in a year, its contribution to some data traffic across the country has gone up to 13 percent.

It has been said in the study that 4G technology is mainly employed in the metros only, whereas the contribution of 4G in data traffic is 26 percent. In the total data payload, the share of 3G is 63 percent.
