AHMEDABAD: Posting a video against the Adani Group, the country's largest industrial conglomerate, has hit a man. Adani Agri Logistics (Panipat) Private Limited (AALL) against Mumbai's Vinay Dubey has demanded damages of Rs 5 crore for releasing a video against the company.

The company has made this demand while filing a defamation suit in the Ahmedabad city civil court. According to media reports, the video was posted on a YouTube channel called Democracy TV. The court has prohibited the release of any video related to the company. According to the report, the civil court on December 28, ordering a video released against the Adani Group, said, "Dubey and his agents, issuing public-circulation and need to ban such type of story and article Adani Group's Panipat unit AALL filed a civil suit in December last year in which it was released a video against Dubey alleging damage of Rs five crore."

According to the report, 36-year-old Dubey of Mumbai has said that 22 complaints have been filed against him across the country. Last year, Dubey had to spend 14 days in jail for inciting a mob of migrant labourers to gather outside a railway station in Mumbai in April in a video. During that time, the Mumbai Police had said that their video showed the role of hundreds of migrant workers outside Bandra railway station, leading to the perception that special trains have been arranged to take them to their homes.
