5 effective home remedies for Dry Skin

The worst thing about the winter season is Dry Skin.  It is very common to have Dry Skin during the winter season. Dry skin is a common problem during the winter months when the skin is exposed to colder temperatures and lower levels of moisture in the air. Although there are various products available in the market but home remedies are best. 

Cold air, dry indoor heat, low humidity levels, and harsh winter wind can all zap your skin of moisture. This can leave your skin looking a lot less radiant than normal not only your face, but also your hands, feet, and other areas exposed to the elements. Here are 5 remedies to get rid of Dry Skin.

Sugar Syrup: One of the best natural moisturizers is Sugar Syrup. Create a naturally moisturizing exfoliating scrub using a combination of olive oil and sugar. Combine half a cup of sugar with two tbsp of olive oil. Gently rub the scrub into your skin, and then wash it off.

Milk Compress: Milk compress does not only help to get rid of Dry skin but it also help you to fight against pimple.  Soak a clean cloth (like a washcloth or a towel) in a bowl of cool milk, and holding it in place over any dry areas. Compresses on your skin for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. It will also help for glowing skin. 

Add Oils to water during Bath: Natural oils are great for moisturizing the skin. It is often damaged by frequent hand and face washing with water and drying soaps that strip the skin of its natural protective oils. You can use olive oil or coconut oil, you can test out other natural oils that are free from irritants, including jojoba, argan, and avocado oils. It is one of the best method add few spoons in water while bathing. 

Neem leaves: One of the best ways to get rid neem leaves. Mix 2 teaspoons dried neem leaves to 1 teaspoon milk cream and 2 teaspoons water.  Apply it to your skin. Neem leaves improve health of the skin, leaving it nourished.

Avocado: A homemade mask of avocado is another natural way to soothe dry skin. It suggests pureeing half an avocado and mixing it with 1 teaspoon of olive oil; you can also add 1 tablespoon (tbsp) of honey for very dry skin. Apply the mask to your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it away.
