Xiaomi informed on Thursday that since the launch in India, 50 million handsets of the Redmi Note 5 series have been sold so far. Xiaomi claims that both the handsets of the Redmi Note 5 series have set a new record in the case of the sale. It has become the fastest 500 million smartphone series in India. The company issued the statement that all the variants of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro were liked by customers. They have also tried to fulfil the tremendous demand for these two phones.

The first flash sale of these two phones, held in the first week after the launch, lasted about 3 minutes. During this period, Xiaomi had sold 3 million units of its Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is still sold through Flash Sale while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is available in the open sale through different platforms.
