Spain's football league La Liga said on Sunday that five players in the country's top two divisions have been found infected with coronavirus. According to the statement, "La Liga staff underwent a mandatory medical test to resume training in which positive cases of Kovid-19 have been reported."

"Five players from La Liga Santander and La Liga SmartBank Club have been found to be positive from Coronavirus," the statement said. "La Liga has not been revealed to identify players in view of the data protection rule."

Due to Coronavirus, all football matches in Spain have been stopped from 12 March. Recently players started training as the league is likely to start in mid-June.
