There is no ultimate guide that teaches you to be the perfect parent. No one can be the perfect parent. We ourselves learn through our experiences and what we can do is encourage our children to be good and learn from the best.
Being independent comes with many challenges and unforeseen circumstances which navigate through on your own. This makes your child more confident as they have knowledge and experience. Pampering and helping our children with things isn't bad but to make them, learn will encourage them and boost them. It'll help them develop in a confident way. You want to be there for them and give them comfort but you also don’t want them to take things for granted. Here are 5 reasons why you should encourage your kids for being self-reliant:

4. Induces gratefulness so that they will value their roots more and induce the quality of gratefulness by realizing the worth of everything.
5. Make them cope with failures, you learn to make yourself flexible enough to pass through the darkest storms and yet come out of it alive.
