Srinagar, Yesterday, a group of terrorists were intercepted by the Army as they were trying to infiltrate from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Five soldiers were injured along with a group of terrorists in an ongoing encounter near the Line of Control (LoC).
An Army official said that, "The infiltrators were attempting to sneak in through the Macchil sector of Kupwara district of Kashmir when they were confronted by the army".
He added, the militants have been engaged by the soldiers and exchange of firing was going on till reports last came in.
An operation of the five injured soldiers is ongoing.
