A crime branch team in Bhadohi district has recovered 350 kg ganja from a truck from National Highway 19. As per the information received, the price of this ganja is said to be Rs. 35 lakhs. Two ganja smugglers along with ganja have also been arrested. Briefing the media in the matter, the Superintendent of Police said, "A large consignment of ganja was being sent to Delhi and NCR areas. Meanwhile, one Mathura and one Secunderabad accused are absconding from the clutches of the police and the search is on.

A large stock of ganja is said to be being smuggled through National Highway 19 of Bhadohi district. As soon as the crime branch and Unj police received information from the informer that broken glass pieces were being loaded into a truck and sent towards Delhi, a large quantity of ganja was being supplied to the truck. Similarly, 350 kg ganja has been recovered when police intercepted a truck on National Highway 19 in the Unj police station area and conducted a search. Police have reportedly arrested Agra resident Pawan Kumar Yadav and Hathras resident Prabendra Singh along with this large consignment of ganja.

On the other hand, Superintendent of Police Dr Anil Kumar said that in the entire case, two ganja smugglers, Shani Yadav's son of Radheshyam resident Ganesh Bihar Colony and Gangabad district Mathura and Kapil Chaudhary alias Vishnu Chaudhary resident Sikandra District Agra are absconding who are on the lookout. Section 8/20/25 NDPS Act, 207M, in this case, has been imposed. V. The smugglers arrested after registering a case under the Act have been produced before the Hon'ble Court and sent to jail.
