New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet has 51 ministers in the cabinet. Among the most wealthy leader is Harsimrat Kaur Badal of Shiromani Akali Dal, whose total assets are 217 crores.

National Election Watch and Association for Democratic Reforms have given information in this regard. After Harsimrat, Rajya Sabha MP from Maharashtra Piyush Goyal, whose assets are worth 95 crores.

Rao Inderjit Singh is the third richest minister to be elected from Gurujram and he has declared his assets in 42 crore rupees in the affidavit. At the fourth, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president and Gandhinagar MP Amit Shah, whose assets have been declared as Rs 40 crore. PM Modi himself is ranked 46th in this list, who has assets worth Rs 2 crore. Nearly 10 ministers have less assets than PM Modi. These included Arjun Ram Meghwal, MP from Bikaner, and Narendra Singh Tomar, MP from Morania of Madhya Pradesh, who has declared assets of nearly Rs. 2 crores.

MP from Muzaffarnagar, Sanjeev Kumar Bialian, Kiran Rijju from Arunachal West and Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, MP from Fatehpur constituency of UP, has declared her assets around one crore rupees. Among the ministers who are not millionaires, Debabashree Chaudhary (61 lakh) MP from Raiganj of Bengal, Rameshwar Teli (43 lakh) MP from Dibrugarh constituency, Lok Sabha MP from V. Muralidharan (27 lakhs) from Kerala, Kailash MP from Barmer seat in Rajasthan Chaudhary (24 lakh) and Prasad Chandra Sarangi MP from Balasore Lok Sabha seat of Odisha (Rs 13 lakh).
