Muzaffarnagar, For the Kawad Yatra to go smooth, district authorities here have installed 52 CCTV cameras along the route of the annual pilgrimage.
As per the police, the cameras have been installed in 20 sensitive places of the district to secure the pilgrimage route.
The yatra which started from July 15, will be concluded on August 1.
Pilgrims, every year start carrying water from Ganga in Haridwar and offer it to lord Shiva on August 1.
In small pitchers, devotees carry holy water back to their homes, traveling all the way on foot.
