New Delhi: Coronavirus cases have registered a huge increase for the third consecutive day on Sunday in India. According to the Union Health Ministry, 6,767 new cases of infection have been registered in the last 24 hours. The total number of infected people has increased to 1,31,868. At the same time, the death toll has increased to 3,867.

According to the bulletin of the ministry, the number of active cases of corona has increased to 73,560. While 54,440 people have been cured of this disease. In this way, about 41.28 percent patients have been cured so far. The total number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus epidemic are also foreign. Of the 147 deaths recorded so far since Saturday morning, 60 in Maharashtra, 27 in Gujarat, 23 in Delhi, nine in Madhya Pradesh, 7 in Rajasthan, 5 in Tamil Nadu, 4 in West Bengal and Telangana, 3 in Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh , Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand.

Maharashtra has the highest number of 1,577 deaths out of 3,867 deaths across the country. With this, 829 people have died in Gujarat, 281 in Madhya Pradesh, 269 in West Bengal and 231 in Delhi. 160 people have died in Rajasthan, 155 in Uttar Pradesh, 103 in Tamil Nadu and 56 in Andhra Pradesh.
