Jammu, Today, the sudden heart attack killed 54-year-old Vaishno Devi-bound pilgrim in Katra town of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district.

According to police, “Koushal Chand, a resident of Delhi, fell unconscious while taking a bath at Bhawan and was taken to the nearby dispensary by his relatives”.

The doctors examining him declared him brought dead and said that the apparent cause of the death seems to be heart attack, the officer said.

A case has been registered, and the body of the deceased has been shifted to the community health centre in Katra for legal and medical formalities after which it would be handed over to the relatives.
