Lucknow: A case of rape of an innocent girl studying in class IV in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow has come to light. It is being told that the accused lured the girl to a house to get her toffee. Where she was raped. Police have registered a case and arrested the 55-year-old middle-aged accused and sent him to jail.

According to the information, the 8-year-old girl was playing outside her house. During this time, the middle-aged man called her on the pretext of giving her a toffee and took her to the empty house and raped her. On reaching home, the victim informed her grandmother about the entire incident. As soon as the incident came to light, a case was registered at the police station. Police have sent the girl to the hospital for a medical examination. 

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Hridesh Kumar said that a complaint was lodged against the accused by the family members of the victim. After which, a case has been registered and the accused has been arrested. The victim told the police that the accused had beaten her up when she made a noise, as well as threatened to kill her.
