Lucknow: The cyber fraudsters in Lucknow are blowing money from the accounts of people. In Alambagh, on the promise of a refund of the amount of cancellation order on Zomato, the fraudsters sent a link and blew 57 thousand rupees from the two accounts of the young man. In Ashiana, being an IRCTC customer care employee, the fraudster robbed Rs 21500 from another young man's account. In both cases, the police have registered a case and started investigating with the help of cyber cell. According to Inspector in-charge of Alambagh Anand Kumar Shahi, Sanjay lives with Saxena family in Bara Barha. On November 19, he gave information about the order cancellation on the number present in the website of Zomato.

According to information, the person receiving the call introduced himself as Vinay Kumar from Customer Care. The fraudster asked Google Pay's number to return the amount, saying that the order was canceled. Sanjay gave the number of his close relative. The fraudster sent a link and directed him to fill the Zomato refund form. After filling the form, asked to send on another number. After this, the fraudster robbed about 55 thousand in four times from Sanjay's Bank of Baroda account and 2200 rupees from the account of the Central Bank of India. Seeing the message, Sanjay complaint at Alambagh police station on Sunday where police has registered a case.
