Hyderabad : A 57-year-old man forcibly molested a 13-year-old minor here. The case is related to Falconoma in the old city.

South Zone Deputy Commissioner, Gajrao Bhopal, said the 16-year-old minor, whose mother died in infancy, was living in Tigalkunta. For this reason she is staying with her cousin Hur Unnisa. His father remarried a few years ago. Hur Unnisa, along with her father Rehmatullah, conspired to obtain a minor to marry a middle-aged aristocrat for money. Police have arrested 7 accused in the case.

Abdul Latif Paramban, 57, of broker Soma Kerala, was brought in by Abdul Arman and Wasim Khan to investigate the affair. Har Unnisa, Farhatullah and Veer forcibly tortured middle-aged Abdul Latif on December 27 in front of Malakpet resident Khazi Mohammad Baiduddin Qadri without minor permission. After the marriage, the minor was raped by Abdul Latif and escaped.

Upon learning of the incident, Falaknuma police immediately took action and arrested Hur Unnisa, Farhatullah, Mir Rahmatullah, Mohd. Abdul Rehman, Wasim Khan and Raji Mo. Baiduddin was arrested. Police have registered cases against Latif and other accused under sections 120B, 376 (2) 420 of the IPC, sections 6 and 5N of the POSCO Act and sections 9 and 10 of the Child Marriage Act. Apart from this the police are looking for rape accused Abdul Latif.
