New Delhi: The government has decided to set up a task force to ensure that 5G service is launched in the country soon. The Task Force will submit its report within 3 months to remove the obstacles in installing 5G networks, creating 5G ecosystems. For which the task force will hold meetings with all stakeholders. Telecom companies are currently conducting 5G trials. The government plans to auction spectrum in March.

Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel plans to roll out 5G in several cities by mid-2022. By 2023, 5G services may be launched across the country. Monday's company founder-chairman Sunil Mittal said during an investor call that infrastructure is essential for digital in accelerating the economy.
