Chandigarh: As soon as schools open in Haryana, the effect of the corona is also visible in schools. 6 children have been found corona positive in Fatehabad in the state. All these children have been isolate in their homes. These 6 children belong to two government schools in Fatehabad. Fear has again spread among people after 6 children were found corona positive in 2 government schools in Jakhal block.

The civil surgeon has sent a letter to the district education officer asking him to get the sampling done in all schools. The district education officer has issued orders for conducting corona tests for children from all government and private schools. Sampling will start in all schools from Monday. All teachers in schools have also been ordered to ensure vaccination. In Haryana, the government has opened schools for children from 6th to 12th standard.

Apart from Haryana, corona infection was also recently found among school students in Solapur in Maharashtra. More than 600 children were found corona positive after the school was reopened in Solapur. So far 613 children have been affected by corona in the district. Coming to corona cases in the country, 41,649 new corona cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. With this, 37,291 people have recovered during this period. According to the Union Health Ministry, 593 patients have also died in the last 24 hours.
