We often ask every other person to give us an advice on our acne problem. And end up getting an advice on skin care products or topical treatments. But still, you have a face full of acne, then there is some problem.

The truth is, doctors still haven’t fully grasped what causes acne so severely. But there are some of the common habits you follow which can be the reason for your lingering acne.

1) Your Diet
What every you et always leaves an effect on your body, hair, and of course, your skin. If you suffer from acne there are certain food groups that you should avoid.

2) Your Phone
You must be thinking how come a phone can cause you an acne but did you know there’s more dirt on an iPhone than a toilet seat. Not only does your phone transfer bacteria to your face, the makeup and dirt left on your screen can clog your pores, which could be causing pimples on your cheeks.

3) Your Sleeping Habits
Sleeping gives your skin the chance to properly repair your blood flow, and good blow flow equals better skin cell regeneration and collagen production. Sleep also increases melatonin, which helps the body fight against age spots and fine lines.

4) Touching your face
On average we touch our faces more than three times an hour and by doing so, we’re just relocating dirt and oil from our hands to our face. Blocked pores that can lead to blemishes are the problems occurs due to this.

5) Your Laundry
Even if you’ve got a pillowcase made of pure silk, if you don’t wash it weekly you’re just allowing it to collect dirt, bacteria and the oily residue from your skin, which you’re then sleeping on every night. The same thing goes with your towel and other things.

6) Your Stress Levels
Stress can have a huge impact on your skin due to the extra release of the stress hormone cortisol. Cortisol causes your oil glands to produce more sebum, which blocks pores and leads to flare-ups.
