Mathura: 7 people, including 6 members of a car, were killed when a tanker hit Yamuna Expressway in the Naujil area of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. While giving information about the incident on Wednesday, police sources said that the incident took place near Milestone 68 at around 12 pm on Tuesday when a car carrying a family returning to their home in Jind district of Haryana after visiting from Vrindavan collided with the tanker which breaks the divider. The tanker coming from the second lane collided.
The accident was so terrible that the car was completely damaged and all the seven people on board died on the spot. He said that the deceased were residents of Safido, a stronghold in the Jind district. A diesel-filled tanker was going from Noida to Agra while the car was going from Agra to Noida.
Meanwhile, the tanker broke the divider and came to the other side of the road and hit the car going from the opposite direction at high speed. Those who died in the accident include Manoj (45), wife Babita (40), sons Abhay (18) and Hemant (16), besides Mithilesh Mittal's son Kannu (10), daughter Himandri (14) and Rakesh (39).
