New Delhi: The new variant of coronavirus is spreading around the world. In India too, this variant has spread its legs. So far, 61 cases of Omicron have been reported in the country. Most cases have been reported in Maharashtra. 28 cases have been registered here so far. In addition, 17 cases have been registered in Rajasthan, 3 in Karnataka, 4 in Gujarat, 1 in Kerala and 1 in Andhra Pradesh, 6 in Delhi and 1 in Chandigarh. Significantly, most people infected with omicrons have taken both doses of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, the Omicron variant is spreading very fast in the UK. About 5000 cases of Omicron have been registered here so far. 10 people infected with Omicron are admitted to the hospital. Britain's health minister said on Tuesday that omicron is spreading so fast that the health system could be completely demolished. In such a case, it is time to tighten coronavirus restrictions further and accelerate booster vaccine shots. On the other hand, 61 corona cases have also been registered in India.

Britain has registered 59,610 corona cases in the last 24 hours. This is the highest since January 9. Meanwhile, Britain has recorded more than 150 deaths in the last 24 hours. On average, 811 people infected with corona are being admitted to the hospital every day. There are currently 7,400 patients admitted to UK hospitals. However, it has declined compared to January.
