New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley passed away at AIIMS in Delhi on Saturday. Arun Jaitley, who has been suffering from a long-standing illness, was admitted to AIIMS on 9th August for breathing problems. The BJP has lost seven of its top leaders, including Arun Jaitley, in the past one year. They include former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar.
Balramji Das Tandon - August 14, 2018
Former Chhattisgarh Governor Balramji Das Tandon passed away on 14th August 2018. He was 90 years old. Dr. Singh said, he is in a state of uneasiness. he was taken to Br Ambedkar Memorial Hospital where he passed away.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee - August 16, 2018
Former PM and BJP veteran Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away on 16th August 2018. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was admitted to AIIMS on June 11, 2019 after complaining of an infection in the kidney tube, tightness in the chest. He passed away on August 16, 2018.

Former Delhi CM Madan Lal Khurana passed away on October 27, 2018. Madan Lal Khurana was the Chief Minister of Delhi from 1993 to 1996. He became of Governor of Rajasthan in 2001.
