The SC-ST Court of Alwar in Rajasthan has reserved the decision till Saturday after convicting the accused in the case of kidnapping of a 7-month-old girl after the new inspection of the POSCO Act has been implemented. This will be the first case in Rajasthan, in which the court will convict the accused in such a short time under the POSCO Act and give a death sentence.

In the case of kidnapping and raping of a 7-month-old girl of Harsana village of Laxmangarh area, Special Judge of Alwar Jagendra Agrawal started hearing every case on May 10, 2018. The judge fixed the date for the decision on Wednesday after hearing the final arguments on Tuesday, the court gave the final decision in 22 court days.

The Ordinance to give strict punishment in the case of rape of girls under the age of 12 years is present in the Pocso Act. This was the first case of rape from a 7-month-old girl in the Pocso Act. Special Judge Jagendra Agarwal heard the arguments of both the sides at the points of the sentence and after conviction, guilty of the accused, on 21 July 2018, has ordered the day of punishment on Saturday. The accused was charged under Indian Section 363, 366, 376AB5M / 6 Pocso Act. 

Kuldeep Jain told that this will be the first case in Rajasthan when the court will pronounce the verdict in less time after the amendment in the Pocso Act. He said that in this case there is also a provision forum death sentence. This is Rajasthan's first and third case of India in which such a quick punishment is provided.  

In two such cases in Madhya Pradesh the accused have also been hanged. There also a case of rape was registered with the child of about 3 months. This case is related to a 7-month-old girl in Alwar. The Additional Public Prosecutor has demanded the death sentence.
