There has been a major accident in Uttar Pradesh. 7 people have been hit by the train named InterCity Express. It is being reported that one among them has been dead. The remaining 6 others are reported to be serious. Everyone has been admitted to the hospital and are taken care of.
All the victims are residents of Kosikala and some nearby villages. It is being told that on Tuesday morning the people were standing on the other side of the platform waiting for Inter City Express at Kosikal station at 7:44 pm. The intercity made a halt at Kosi Kalan platform number 1, the number of passengers jumped on track from platform two and ran to board the intercity train. At the same time, Sampark Kranti Express which had no halt at Kosi Kalan arrived on the down track and the passengers were hit by the fast coming train. The victims of the accident have not been identified and the police are working on finding their identity.
The incident took place at Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh where 7 people were caught in the grip of InterCity Express at Kosikala railway station. One of the victims died on the spot while 6 people were injured and were taken immediately to the hospital.
