Patna: Everyone is aware of the name of Bihar's mountainman Dasharatha Manjhi. With the help of a hammer and a chisel, he had single-handedly cut a 360-foot-long, 30-foot-wide and 25-foot-high mountain into a road, spending 22 years of his life in this work. One such 70-year-old elderly Loongi, Bhuiyan, solved the problems of hundreds of people in villages with his hard work. With thirty years of hard work, he cut the mountain and made a five km long canal. Now the mountain and rainy water are going through the canal to the fields. Due to which the people of three villages are benefiting.

Loongi Bhuiyan, a resident of Gaya, Bihar, has presented an example of hard work, which will always be remembered. Lolongi Bhuiyan lives with his son, daughter-in-law and wife in Kothelwa village. Bhuiyan said that the first family members stopped him a lot. But they did not listen and started digging the canal. Actually, due to the scarcity of water in the area, people used to cultivate only maize and gram. In such a situation, all the youth of the village had migrated from the village in search of good jobs. Most people went away from the village in search of work. In such a situation, he realized that if there is a settlement of water here, then the migration of people can be stopped. After hard work, the canal is ready today and three thousand people of three villages of this area are getting benefit.

The villagers say that ever since they have sensed, they have seen less Loongi in the house, more in the forest. At the same time, Bhuiyan says that if the government gives some help. If we get the facility like tractor for farming, then we can make barren land fertile for farming, which will help people a lot. At the same time, everyone is praising the work of Loongi Bhuiyan. Everyone is saluting their spirit. Who, after 30 years of hard work, built a canal five feet wide and three feet deep and solved the problem of thousands of people.
