Hajipur: A 70-year-old elderly man has been accused of raping a minor girl of the age of his granddaughter in the Nagar police station area of ​​Vaishali district of Bihar. The police have arrested the accused elderly. Giving information on Friday, a police official said that a five-year-old girl was playing near her house in Hajipur on Thursday evening. 

At the same time, it is alleged that the elders of the neighborhood took her to his house on some pretext and carried out the rape incident with him. When the victim came back to her home, the family members had some doubts after seeing the blood, after which the victim told the whole thing. The family gave information about this to the people of the neighborhood and caught the accused and beat him fiercely. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and rescued the accused from the crowd, and took them into their possession.

Giving information about the case on Friday, Subodh Kumar Singh, in-charge of Nagar police station, said that an FIR has been registered under the POCSO act and the 70-year-old accused has been arrested. He told that the victim has been sent to the hospital for a medical test. The police are investigating the entire case.
