Gorakhpur: A 70-year-old man married his 28-year-old daughter-in-law in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur. As soon as the pictures of both of them went viral on social media, this unique wedding is becoming a matter of discussion. This is the case of the Barhalganj police station area of the district. Kailash Yadav (70), a resident of Chapia Umrao village here, married his son's wife Pooja (28) in a temple. Everyone is surprised by the old man's marrying a 42 years younger girl.

Now the pictures of this married couple's wedding in the temple are going viral. As soon as the picture went viral, this wedding has become a topic of discussion in the area. Kailash Yadav, a resident of Chapia village, is the watchman at Barhalganj police station. His wife died 12 years ago. The third daughter-in-law of Kailash's four children was about to settle down somewhere else after the death of Pooja's husband. But in the meantime, the father-in-law's heart fell on the daughter-in-law. After that, breaking the barriers of age and society, both of them went to the temple and took seven vows with each other.

It is said that both of them married with mutual consent. No complaint was lodged at the police or administration level on behalf of either side regarding this marriage. Recently, an incident between the father-in-law and daughter-in-law came to light from the Baran district of Rajasthan. There was a stir in Chhabra town of the district when a man climbed onto a water tank with his two-year-old grandson. Then he stood there and pleaded with the administration that his daughter-in-law was living with another person. If she does not return home, he along with his grandson will jump out of the tank and commit suicide. A lot of effort was made to convince the daughter-in-law but still she did not return home and is still living with the same young man.
