Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is celebrating its 71st Foundation Day on January 24. On this occasion, the Yogi government is celebrating UP Day in Lucknow and Noida for three days (January 24-26). CM Yogi Adityanath recounted the achievements of the government at a function held at Awadh Shilp Gram in Lucknow. CM Yogi said Uttar Pradesh is moving forward by imbibing PM Narendra Modi's mantra of 'Jaan Bhi, Jahan Bhi'.

The theme of the 71st Foundation Day of UP is Self-Reliant Uttar Pradesh, Mahila Yuva Kisan, Sabka Vikas Sabka Samman. State that Uttar Pradesh came into existence on 24th January, 1950, when the Governor General of India passed the United Provinces (Declaration of Name) Order, 1950. Since then, we celebrate the Foundation Day of UP every 24th January. Before January 24, 1950, the state was known as the United Provinces.

On the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day, an exhibition based on Hunar Haat Exhibition, ODOP Exhibition, Exhibition of Department of Culture, Exhibition of Department of Tourism and Mission Shakti of Department of Home Affairs, Department of Women and Child Welfare has also been organized. In addition, an exhibition of achievements of the State Government for four years has also been organized.
