New Delhi: On the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent his greetings to the country's citizens.

The Republic Day Parade in 2022 will highlight India's military might and cultural diversity, with numerous new activities planned as part of the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' to commemorate the country's 75th year of independence.

This year's Republic Day parade will feature a total of 21 tableaux, including 12 from various states and Union Territories and nine from various ministries.Prime Minister Modi will begin the Republic Day Parade celebration by paying a visit to the National War Memorial.

The Ministry of Defence has planned a variety of new events to commemorate the occasion, including a march on Rajpath and a 'Beating the Retreat' celebration at Vijay Chowk on Saturday January 29.
