Corona continue wreaking havoc in Karnataka, over seven thousand fresh cases reported

Bangalore: Patients of Corona in Karnataka are fast-growing. 7,571 new cases of corona reported in the state on Friday and 93 more people have died due to the virus. With this, the total number of patients in the state has been 2,64,546 and the number of dead has been 4,522. With the 2,948 new corona cases in Bengaluru Urban, the total number of patients has crossed 1 lakh on Friday. After recovering, 6,561 people have also been discharged from hospitals.

The Health Department has said in its bulletin that till the evening of August 21, the total number of patients in the state is 2,64,546, out of which 4,522 people have died and 1,76,942 people have been cured. It was told in the bulletin that out of 83,066 infected patients undergoing treatment, 82,368 patients are living in segregation in fixed hospitals and their condition is stable.

According to the bulletin, 93 people died on Friday. The maximum of 22 people died in Bengaluru urban area. According to the bulletin, so far 23,14,485 samplas have been investigated out of which 57,623 samples have been examined on Friday. For the third consecutive day, there has been a big jump in the increasing cases of Coronavirus infection in India. On Saturday, 69,877 new cases were reported, the highest number of infected patients in a day so far. The number of infected patients has reached close to 30 lakhs. But the good thing is that the number of people recovering from the infection has exceeded 2.2 million and the record has increased in the investigation.
