The lockdown is going to continue till July 23 in Dakshina Kannada city of Karnataka. Due to the lockdown, the roads looked completely deserted on Sunday morning. The state government has done a lockdown for a week. In this bandh, hours of relaxation have been allowed between 8 am and 11 am.

Most shops selling some essential materials were seen closed in the district today. Apart from this, barricades were also deployed at different junctions on the road. On the Corona Information Portal of Karnataka, a total of 59,652 coronavirus cases have been reported in the state. Of which 36,631 active cases and 21,775 are nearing recovery. So far 1,240 people have died due to infection in the state.

During this time, 23,672 people have become healthy. A total of 6.77 lakh people have been completely cured so far. This is the fourth consecutive day that more than 30,000 cases of coronavirus have been reported. According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 38,902 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Cases have been reported, while 543 people have died. The total number of Corona cases in the country has increased to 10 lakh 77 thousand 618. Of which 3 lakh 73 thousand 379 are active cases, while 6 lakh 77 thousand 423 people have been cured.
