In yet another shocking and shameful incident a minor girl from class 7th found hanging at her house in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur district. The incident took place in the Gorakhnath area of the district.
As per the information the victim was studying in class seven. When the girl commit suicide her family members had gone to their village.The family members of the girl alleged that she was gang-raped by the landlord and other tenants before being murdered. The landlord of the house had called the police The girl's body was sent for postmortem.
Inspector Durgesh Singh speaking of the incident said, "The cause of death will be known only after the report comes. The landlord whom the family members are accusing of rape is 70 years old. However, no written complaint has been received from the family yet." The girl's mother, however, alleged that the landlord and two tenants gang-raped her daughter.
The victim’s mother said that the landlord killed the girl by putting a pillow on her face. As per the victim’s mother, the landlord had molested the girl twice before. She also alleged that the police were called and the body was sent to postmortem without the family's information. She said, "The police informed us late at night. We refused them to take the dead body, but they did not agree and took away the body when we were not there,". As of now, Police have registered the case and they are further looking into the matter.
